  11. Really useful information. I am glad I have a webhost. It looks so much more professional. I have bad experiences with Blue host though , where my website got hacked and they didnt even tell me, so I switched to GoDaddy and love their services. I have heard Squarespace is good as well.

  24. I use GoDaddy and works fine. Some doesnt like it coz they find it expensive.

  25. I’ve just gone self hosted and I use site ground. Can’t recommend them enough. My site has never gone down and their help desk is amazing!

    It took me a long time to find a web host when I first started blogging as well. At first, I got a really bad web host that always had a downtime and then I had to move to a different one after a month. I’m glad that I was able to find one that satisfies me now. ๐Ÿ™‚

My partner who’s a web developer always mentioned about me needing to get a hosting and domain to start a blog and I was like..what is that? Choosing a blog platform is not really that hard, but sometimes we need to try every web hosting there is to see what comforts us.     I’m still not so sure if I understand web hosting or not, so I’ll really check your follow-up post. I purchased mine from GoDaddy. It’s good. I made a mistake at first try, good thing they accepted my request to cancel some add-ons that I don’t actually need. I’ve also heard Squarespace. Is it better?
